Good Evening!

I am emailing you to see what kind of interest your Hash House Harriers team would have in participating in a GORUCK challenge. The event is taking place in Dover on December 3rd, and we think Hash House Harriers have a similar mindset. (Check out our recommended training beverage of choice to see what we mean.)

Inspired by the most elite training offered to Special Forces soldiers and led by Green Berets, the GORUCK Challenge is a team event and never a race. Cadre lead classes of thirty on a 15-20 mile route that showcases the best of the city - think of it as a guided tour. Challenge takers all wear GORUCK bags filled with bricks - but if the Challenge were easy, you wouldn't sign up.

Everyone must work together, and it is a tough trek, but smiles abound. Everyone becomes closer friends, and I have never met people like those I met in these Challenges. I feel you hashers would be a perfect fit for it!

$10 of every registration goes to the Green Beret Foundation, and we are all about helping those in need.

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in and Sophie, who I copied on this email, can help you to get the word out.

Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon!
